Brewhouse & Kitchen to host free brewing experiences for women

On Wednesday 8 March 2017, Brewhouse & Kitchen, the UK’s largest brewpub group, will celebrate International Women’s Day by hosting complimentary brewing experiences for women at each of their pubs.

Brewhouse & Kitchen will be joining thousands of women across the world who are all brewing a ‘Unite Local’ beer, coordinated by Project Venus, a UK based group of female brewers who are passionate about supporting women in the brewing industry.

Each Unite Local beer brewed on 8 March will be completely unique to the pub and once available, on draught, two weeks later, a donation from each pint sold will go towards breast cancer research charities.

Brewhouse & Kitchen’s Brewery Experience Day packages offer guests a hands-on introduction to brewing and usually retail at £85 per head. For one day only, the group is inviting women to participate free of charge in brewing ‘Unite Local’.

The day will start with breakfast before an introduction to the recipe and starting the brewing process. With lunch and beer tastings included throughout the day, participants will experience each step of the method involved in brewing beer.

There are eight spaces available at each Brewhouse & Kitchen pub for women who wish to participate. To book contact lucy.deare@brewhouseandkitchen.com.
