Mitchells & Butlers' steak restaurant brand, Miller & Carter is to create 50 jobs at a new steak restaurant due to open in Colchester next month.
Selling over 1 million steaks a year, Miller & Carter serves premium-graded beef, sourced from carefully selected cattle reared on sustainable British and Irish farms, before being matured for at least 30 days.
All the brand's managers and chefs attend a two-day 'Steak School' starting at the farm and ending in the kitchen.
Miller & Carter is also known for matching cocktails and wines to complement its steaks.
Beyond steaks, the restaurants offer fish dishes, handmade burgers and salads.
