Tattu to open second restaurant this June in Leeds

Owned by Adam and Drew Jones, modern Chinese restaurant brand Tattu is set to launch its second venue in Leeds in June, creating 80 new jobs.

The new 180-cover split-level eatery will be situated in Minerva House, part of the new Bond Court development on East Parade.

The menu will serve up a unique and modern take on Chinese cuisine, incorporating traditional ingredients and cooking techniques combined with new ideas and distinctive presentation.

As well as Tattu signature dishes like Aberdeen Angus steak served with shiitake, asparagus & caramel soy,, diners will be able to enjoy new individual plates created especially for the Leeds restaurant, utilising premium, locally-sourced produce.

The new additions have been developed by executive chef Clifton Muil and his team for the spring-summer menu, and include Sweet Soy Sticky Short Rib, as well as traditional dishes which will be given a modern twist.

Both Tattu branches will launch of a new lunchtime dining experience, Taste of Tattu, which aims to provide an express lunch of two or three courses. Taste of Tattu features a number of the restaurant’s best-selling small plates combined with innovative dishes from the wok, plus desserts.

Taste of Tattu will run daily alongside the renowned dim sum lunch menu, and will deliver all the quality and creativity of Tattu’s à la carte menu.
