Pizza Pilgrims to open two new sites this year

Pizza Pilgrims is to expand its London-based chain of six pizza restaurants with new sites in West India Quay and Oxford, its first beyond the city.

The West India Quay pizzeria will open in April, with the Oxford restaurant set to open in the Westgate Shopping Centre later in the year.

Situated in a Grade I-listed former dock warehouse, the 174-cover West India Quay branch will be the largest site for the brand to date.

The new eatery will feature a bowling alley on the terrace, and diners will be able to enjoy a range of Nintendo console games when they book sofa space.

Brothers Thom and James Elliot founded the brand in 2012 when they served up their Neapolitan-style pizzas from a food van in Berwick Street Market.
