The great and the good of the hospitality world gathered at The Intercontinental Hotel Park Lane for The London Club & Bar Awards this week, where they witnessed iconic Mayfair brasserie and cocktail bar, Hush receive the prestigious Best Bar Award.
This honour comes at a key point in Hush’s evolution; having remained a firm favourite in the capital for nearly two decades, the venue recently celebrated its 18th birthday with a major facelift courtesy of the brilliant Russell Sage, including the launch of the ultra-glamorous new Aviator Bar (pictured).
Owner Jamie Barber said, 'To receive such an award in the year we turn 18 is truly exceptional. Russell’s brilliance may have revitalised the space, but our original premise, to create a homage to the golden age of travel where our guests can hang out at any time of the day or night, remains the same.
