Bournemouth Hallmark Hotels give free ice cream to hot businesses

Bournemouth's three Hallmark Hotels have been visiting businesses across Dorset, handing out free ice creams to refresh busy workers through the recent heatwave.

As a reminder to the business community that the season of giving should last throughout the year, team members from three Bournemouth hotels have been going out into the community in a dedicated ice cream van. Representing the Carlton, East Cliff, and West Cliff Hallmark Hotels, they have been donating and handing out free ice creams at local industrial estates.

Serving the community, the Hallmark representatives seized upon the idea during the recent hot weather. Helping to cool down busy workers, they set out to provide free, refreshing and delicious ice cream treats. They have now handed out ice creams to over 35 businesses within the Verwood, Ferndown, and Nuffield industrial estates. Despite the summer season, they have fully embraced the merry making spirit, co-ordinating the initiative to start raising awareness of their festive parties later in the year.

Gemma Morgan, Regional Sales Manager Hallmark Hotels, said, 'The recent mini-heatwave inspired us to give something back to the community. We've been out and about across the local area, meeting grateful business people and handing out ice creams to workers. Feeling very much appreciated, it was a great opportunity to spread some very early Christmas cheer and highlight our award-winning facilities.''
