Novikov hosts summer masterclass in Suffolk walled garden

On 22 July, Novikov restaurants’s latest masterclass will swap its normal Mayfair location for the grounds of Brent Eleigh Hall in the Suffolk countryside, home to its unique kitchen garden project.

With head gardener Sandie Cain as the expert guide, particpants will first tour the glorious two acre walled plot, picking the required fruit, vegetables and herbs, all bursting with freshness, flavour and colour.

Armed with the required ingredients, the three hour tutorial will begin. At the expert hands of chefs from the restaurant, participants can learn the secrets to making Celery & Radishes Pinzimonio; Spaghetti Alla Chitarra with courgettes & pesto; Lamb Scottadito and other seasonal specialities.

Participants can enjoy the fruits of their labour at an informal lunch, with each of the courses they've helped to create paired with wine chosen by Novikov's sommelier.

For those who don’t wish to drive, a coach will depart Novikov Restaurant & Bar at 9am, with a traditional Italian breakfast served en route, before returning later that day.
