Bubbledogs host dog tea party in aid of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home

On Tuesday 8 August, Bubbledogs, always welcoming of four-legged friends, will be hosting a canine friendly dog tea party, in support of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

Kitted out with Battersea balloons and banners, bubbledogs will be launching their hound-themed hot dogs, available throughout August, with £1 from each hot dog purchased going to the charity.

Bubbledogs founder, Sandia Chang, has also created a menu of homemade dog treats, from hotdogs to tater tots, so that the dogs are happy on the day.

Modeled on their canine namesakes, the doggy-themed hotdogs will include; The German Shepherd, with a grilled sauerkraut, honey mustard beer sauce and a pretzel crumb, The Mutt, pairing peanut butter with cheddar cheese and salty bacon bits, and The Bichon Frise with brie, cornichon relish and Dijon mustard.

Completing the line up will be The Greyhound, with homemade piccalilli, cheddar cheese sauce and apple slaw.

Chang will be on hand serving bubbledogs’ hand-picked selection of grower Champagnes, from a glass of own label Collin-Guillaume Rosé to the Jean-Marc Sélèque, Extra Brut. Whilst Champagne will be flowing for owners only, pups will be catered for with Sandia’s dog treats served to our four-legged guests.

Chang said, ‘I feel really strongly about making sure that all dogs and cats have a warm and loving home, and that’s why I have chosen support Battersea as we want to do what we can to help this fantastic charity couple owners and canine companions.

'Paxo, our resident dog and canine recipe tester, has helped with the doggy-themed hot dog menu which includes some of our favourite flavours.

'Dogs are always more than welcome at the restaurant, we love to meet our guests and the wonderful community of dog owners that we have in London, but it’s even better to be doing it for a good cause.'
