Elior UK to support mental health campaign Heads Together

Elior UK has announced it will be supporting Heads Together, the mental health campaign of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. The charity of the year partnership will come into effect at the beginning of the coming financial year, 1 October 2017.

Catherine Roe, chief executive of Elior UK, said, “One in four adults in the UK experiences a mental health problem every year. It’s an issue which affects us all – whether directly or indirectly. By supporting Heads Together, Elior can play a part in tackling stigma and support innovative new mental health services for schools, employers and the military. Given the nature of the Elior business, and the Elior Group CSR commitment to support thriving people and communities, it’s a perfect fit.”

Heads Together was launched by The Royal Foundation in May 2016. The major mental health initiative is a partnership of eight mental health charities: CALM, Mind, Contact, Place2Be, The Mix, YoungMinds, Best Beginnings, and the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. Each charity focuses on a different age range or audience group.

The initiative launched in 2016 with a public awareness campaign to tackle stigma and change the conversation around mental health.
