Elior UK brews up new way to bring high street quality coffee to sites

As consumers become more and more knowledgeable about coffee, Elior UK has brewed up a fresh new one-stop shop manual to help its sites choose the right hot beverage offer for their customers, and bring it to life with style.

Lorraine Herbert, Elior promotions manager, said, “The UK is becoming a nation of coffee connoisseurs. Brewing at home is on the rise, and consumers are increasingly well informed about not just the origins of the beans in their coffee, but also how it’s prepared. Our new Tea & Coffee Manual gives sites everything they could possibly need to impress.”

The manual covers everything from information on beans and equipment to barista training. And it gives sites access to all the marketing materials they’ll need to give their coffee shop that high street feel – from branded aprons to ‘lifestyle’ and ‘mood imagery’ wall tiles.

Herbert added, “From brands owned and operated by Elior, like Barista & Baker; our traditional Italian coffee house style concept, to partnerships with leading players on the high street, our sites have a wealth of options to choose from. By bringing everything under one roof, we’re making it easier than ever for our sites to ensure their customers can enjoy the exceptional cup of coffee they're looking for, every time.”

Elior has also released four new coffee shop concepts to accompany the launch of the manual:

· Green Parrot Coffee – a satisfying taste in fun surroundings, where bold, contemporary graphics evoke the exotic source of the coffee: Brazil, Columbia, Centrals, and Sumatra. Rich, balanced coffee with red fruit top notes and a sweet creamy finish. Alongside the coffee, Green Parrot Coffee serves a range of Fairtrade teas from Clipper

· Fontanella II – an extension of Elior’s Fontanella brand. Fontanella II is a quality barista-served coffee shop which serves a unique PURO SELVA blend, made of the finest beans from Peru, Honduras, Vietnam, and Brazil. Sweet, clean and extremely balanced, with notes of lemon and spice; the coffee is very smooth with a lasting aftertaste. Customers can also enjoy a range of Rainforest Alliance Certified teas supplied by PG tips

· Arte – with a distinctive whole bean coffee and Elior’s finest cakes, Arte offers a premium product that reflects the fine art of coffee making in a smart and progressive café bar setting. It serves ThreeSixty° Blend No.1, a blend sourced from Kenya, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. Expect a dominant warm honey sweetness leading into a fresh lime acidity, with a hint of grapefruit, finishing with warming winter spices. Through milk, the acidity gives way to a butterscotch sweetness with a hint of caramel. The coffee is complemented by a range of loose-leaf teas from Brew Tea Co.

· GROUND TO GO! – a consistent, reliable coffee fix whether you’re on the go or enjoying a well-earned break. Made using Lyons’ Italian espresso beans, roasted the Italian way, this full bodied espresso has a smooth mouth feel and deep silky finish. Perfect for all drinking occasions. GROUND TO GO! also offers Rainforest Alliance Certified teas, supplied by PG tips
