Shake Shack celebrates Cambridge Circus launch with collaborations

On 26 October, Shake Shack will celebrate the opening of its Cambridge Circus Shack with a number of new acts, available exclusively in the heart of London’s West End.

Showcasing some of their favourite London producers, Shake Shack is joining forces with a line-up of locals for one-off creations that can only be found at the Cambridge Circus Shack.

While Crosstown Doughnuts unveils its awesome Black Forest Cake Doughnut at Crosstown locations across London, Cambridge Circus will be servin’ up a Black Forest Cake Doughnut special Shack-style.

The CrissCross (pictured) will feature the Crosstown Black Forest Cake Doughnut (a chocolate cake dough topped with a white chocolate glaze and finished with a dark chocolate crumb, a festive sprinkling of icing sugar and a praline almond shard) which is filled with Shake Shack vanilla frozen custard dripping with black forest compote.

The CrissCross will be available only at the Cambridge Circus Shack from Thursday 26th October, and at all London Shacks from Wednesday 1 November – Sunday 31 December.

For the first time ever Shake Shack will serve two pimped up gin lemonades: The London Cup featuring classic, daily-made Shack lemonade and Sipsmith London Cup and the Gin Lemonade featuring Shack lemonade and East London Liquor Co. gin.

Need a sip that wards off the Autumn chill? Check out the Cambridge Circus-exclusive shake The Cheeky Monkey featuring vanilla custard blended with caramel and Monkey Shoulder whisky.

A local craft beer list will include inspired picks of Crate Brewery’s Lemon Gose Seasonal Sour Beer and Crate’s Session IPA, Howling Hops’ Pale Ale, and Portobello’s London Pilsner.

And because nothing goes better than burgers and brews, Shake Shack are teaming up with the cheese masters at Neal’s Yard Dairy to create The Yard Burger features 100% Aberdeen Angus beef burger topped with Neal’s Yard Hafod Cheddar Cheese, British free range Wiltshire cure smoked bacon and horseradish - mustard mayo.

The Yard Burger will sit alongside the usual Shake Shack showstoppers including the signature ShackBurger, SmokeShack, the vegetarian ‘Shroom Burger and the Chick’n Shack.

Shake Shack Culinary Director, Mark Rosati said, “I’ve always looked to London for culinary inspiration, it’s one of my favorite food destinations in the world. The city overflows with inspiring cuisine, wonderful local artisans, and talented chefs that are a dream to collaborate with.

'It couldn't be more important that as Shake Shack grows, we also deepen our culinary roots in this community, and I’m delighted to be working with some of the best at Cambridge Circus.”
