Elior UK wins prestigious contract with Famous Grouse Experience

Elior UK has been awarded a catering contract with The Famous Grouse Experience (The Edrington Group) at the historic Glenturret Distillery in Crieff, Perthshire.

The 3-year contract will see Elior operate under The Famous Grouse brand, providing an artisanal food and drink offer with exceptional customer service at both the distillery’s newly branded outlets – the Glenturret Café as well as its fine dining restaurant, 1775.

Cheryl MacLeod, business development manager, Elior UK, said, “The Famous Grouse has a proud and illustrious history. We’ve taken great care in creating an offer befitting of its longstanding dedication to quality, with menus that celebrate the finest local produce.”

The new menu will showcase fine Scottish produce from a range of local producers, including fresh seafood from George Campbell & Sons in Perth, fresh breads and oatcakes from Crieff’s own Campbell’s Bakery, and a selection of speciality Scottish cheeses.

John Laurie, general manager, The Famous Grouse Experience, said, “We want The Famous Grouse Experience to be a world class visitor experience. Which makes first class food, drink, and customer service absolutely crucial. Elior’s passion for quality, innovation, and service is evident. We’re excited to be working with them to make The Famous Grouse Experience an experience like no other.”

Elior’s reputation for providing first-class guest experiences that celebrate the finest Scottish produce is preeminent, having won multiple awards for its corporate hospitality at BT Murrayfield in 2017.
