Bubbledogs to celebrate Easter with Champagne & hotdog hunt

This Easter, bubbledogs, the gourmet Champagne and hotdog bar, will be causing mischief in the local community, hiding hundreds of hotdogs and bottles of Champagne shaped keepsakes for its neighbours in Soho and Fitzrovia to hunt down.

Bottles’ and ‘hotdogs’ will be hidden high and low, inside and out, tucked away in offices and under bushes, and when found these little corkers will earn the finder a free hotdog or glass of fizz at bubbledogs' Charlotte Street home.

From Tuesday 27 to Saturday 7 April, guests will be able to bring in their scouted out bubbles and hotdogs in exchange for a choice of dogs or a glass of their house champagne.

The hotdog menu will include the New Yorker, with grilled sauerkraut and caramelized onions, the Mac Daddy with mac ‘n’ cheese and bacon bits and the José topped with tomato salsa, avocado, sour cream and pickled jalapenos).

Courtesy of Gareth Ward, and in time for the Easter weekend, throughout March, guest hotdog, his ‘Dog Shiit-ake’will take pride of place on the menu, served with shiitake ketchup, picked sea lettuce and puffed wild rice.

Of course, no trip to bubbledogs would be complete without a glass of something special, and Founder and Sommelier Sandia Chang will be on hand with a host of grower Champagnes by the bottle.

Bubbledogs Founder, Sandia Chang said. ‘As a kid I always relished the yearly Easter egg hunt at home, and as an adult you miss out on all the fun. We wanted to rectify that, but replace the Easter eggs with hotdogs and your family back garden with Central London. It’s the ultimate urban hunter gatherer challenge!’
