Marston's has added to Revere, its Premium Bars & Restaurants business, with the opening of The White Hart in Godstone, Surrey. The 16th century building on Godstone Green is steeped in history from its days as a coaching inn.
The pub group acquired the site last year and have since invested in a refurbishment to bring it back to its former glory. The White Hart now features a large dining and bar area, an outside courtyard, a terrace and two private dining rooms for those special events. And (in true Revere style!) it's retained its original features, too: period fireplaces sit alongside copper tables, gritty metal chairs, Edison bulbs and glass-cage lighting.
