Pan-global food bowls concept to open in Soho

Bowls, a new concept, based on internationally inspired food bowls, is making its debut in London. The restaurant is opening in an 1,830 sq ft unit at 27-28 St Anne’s Court in Soho, via CDG Leisure, replacing Billy and the Chicks.

Bowla will feature an all-day dining menu showcasing food bowls inspired by flavours from all over the world, using sustainable UK-sourced ingredients.

Diners can expect to find a selection of breakfast bowls, including smoothie and acai, Buddha bowls, poké bowls and burrito bowls, amongst others - harnessing a growing demand for the health-food trend. At lunchtimes guests will be able to build and customise their own bowls.

The concept is the brainchild of Zarifa Ragimova, a chef and television presenter with a cookery show in Russia. Ragimova trained at Le Cordon Bleu, London and has a wide range of experience within the hospitality sector.

Tom Crosthwaite, CDG Leisure, who acted on behalf of the previous tenant, fried chicken restaurant Billy and the Chicks, which is relocating, said, “Soho will always be a prime destination for restaurateurs and Bowls will be a fantastic new addition to the area.

“This new pan-global concept, offering something fast, tasty and healthy for customers, is guaranteed to be a huge success throughout the day - not least because CDG Leisure work very close by and are always on the lookout for something new for lunch!”
