Carerplus, specialist caterer to the care and welfare sector has won a new catering contract worth £300,000 at a new Milton Keynes retirement village. The company will take charge at Shenley Wood Village, making this the second retirement village in Milton Keynes to be catered for by Caterplus. The other is at Lovats Field Village in Willen. 184 apartment are now open within the new village, and another 116 homes are to be completed by the end of 2012. Both Milton Keynes retirement villages were launched as part of a partnership between Milton Keynes Council, the Homes and Communities Agency, the Department of Health and the ExtraCare Charitable Trust.
