OTW Restaurants to launch fourth site in January

Launching January 2019, The Oak SW11 will be the fourth eatery and bar for OTW Restaurants. The new Battersea opening will follow in the footsteps of hugely popular flagship, The Oak W2 on Westbourne Park Road in Notting Hill.

Restaurateur Jasper Gorst and his team are delighted to be expanding south of the river, occupying the space that was previously Butcher & Grill at 39 Parkgate Road.

Set to the backdrop of neighbouring Battersea Park, The Oak SW11 will serve the signature pizzas, for which the group is well known, alongside an Italian and Mediterranean menu.

With an overall capacity for 120, the casual dining space is made up of a ground floor dining room and counter bar that will accommodate walk ins, a more relaxed lounge area perfect for breakfast and long brunches, and a mezzanine level dining room where reservations will be available. Design is overseen by Jasper, incorporating characterful 3-D tiles, banquette seating, artwork by prominent local artists and a statement long table, available for bookings up to 16.

Located at Parkgate Road, the new site will be a stone-throw away from Battersea park, and joins the likes of local favourites the Nutbourne and The Latchmere. The Oak SW11 will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8am – midnight. It will be the fourth site from Jasper Gorst, alongside sister sites The Oak W2 in Notting Hill (2001), The Bird in Hand in Brook Green (2011) and The Oak W12 in Goldhawk Road (2013).
