Kudos secures exclusive listing at Merseyside theatre & conference centre

Kudos has been listed as the new exclusive catering partner at the Floral Pavilion Theatre in Merseyside, and hosted a night of special events celebrating the venue's tenth anniversary (pictured).

The iconic Floral Pavilion Theatre and Conference Centre is located in New Brighton, along the Mersey estuary with stunning views of the Liverpool waterfront. With an estimated visitor count of 230,000 each year the venue can hold over 800 people for private and corporate events as well as musical theatre, concerts, comedy and pantomime.

Taking over from Carringtons Catering, Kudos is injecting life into the venue by providing exceptional food as a supporting attraction, creating themed and seasonal menus in line with theatre performances and entertainment.

Kudos has introduced more wholesome menus across its retail offering, events and pre-theatre dining, with all seasonal ingredients being sourced locally within 60 miles of the venue. The new menus will highlight healthier options including a wide variety of new juices, sandwich alternatives and creative salad boxes. Both hospitality and retail menus will not be bought in, but made fresh on site each day.

For the retail element of the cafe, Kudos is focused on creating a distinct venue identity, emanating everything that is wonderful about the experience at the Floral Pavilion. The rebranded Floral Café is a reflection of the more contemporary, bright open space created to be more attractive to wider audiences.

David Mackenzie, Commercial Manager of the Floral Pavilion, said, “As the largest theatre and conference venue in Wirral we are looking forward to working with KUDOS to provide our audiences, clients and customers with top-class, innovative menus that showcase the finest local ingredients.”

Matthew Herter, Chief Executive of Kudos, said “The team are extremely excited to have developed a new partnership with one of the North West’s leading cultural and entertainment venues.

'We will continue to develop unique member experiences such as afternoon tea or resident chef nights, driven by bespoke menus. We look forward to working closely together to create innovative marketing initiatives to support the development of the Floral Pavilion as a destination for both tourists and the local demographic alike.”
