Refurbed Cheyne Walk Brasserie to reopen with new name & new chef

Cheyne Walk Brasserie is set to be transformed, reopening after a ninth-month refurbishment and with a new chef as No. Fifty Cheyne in February.

The restaurant was opened in 2003 by Sally Greene OBE, who’s also the Founder Director of The Old Vic and owner of Ronnie Scott’s.

In charge of the kitchen will be Iain Smith, formerly Head Chef at Social Eating House. Smith's menu will include Belted Galloway beef ragout with spatzli, spicy sausage & rose harissa, and Cornish monkfish, roscoff onion, potato straws with roast chicken broth.

A special Sunday menu will allow diners to pre-order their favourite roasts, such as a whole suckling pig, rib of beef, or whole salmon.

With views of the Thames and Cheyne Gardens, the ground floor restaurant will seat around 70, and on the upper floor will be home to a 50-seat cocktail bar and drawing room.
