Vegan snack brand secures spot in Whole Foods Market stores

Peakz, the nutritious vegan chocolate snack, has announced that its six flavours will be stocked in all Whole Foods Market stores in London, with the exception of Piccadilly, from Saturday 19 January.

This Saturday, local health and chocolate lovers alike will be able to get their hands on all Peakz flavours, including plain chocolate, chocolate orange, salted caramel chocolate, mint chocolate, berry chocolate, and hazelnut chocolate, which are completely natural, vegan and free from palm oil, GMO ingredients, additives and colouring.

The crunchy squares are coated in high quality dark chocolate, which is not only packed full of nutrients and antioxidants, but also has been proven to lower blood pressure, reduce arterial stiffness, improve blood flow and boost mood, making Peakz the perfect snack to munch on desk-side or on-the-go.

Since launching in 2017 by vegan co-founders Aalya Magsi and Linnea Mullenbach, Peakz has grown in popularity across the UK and Ireland, giving their consumers a healthier snack option which contains 46% less sugar than comparable chocolate products.

Magsi commented, “We are thrilled to be launching in Whole Foods Market stores across London and hope that it helps more vegan chocolate fans discover a healthier, yet still satisfying, way of snacking.”

Mullenbach added, “This is an exciting announcement for us as we make Peakz more accessible to consumers, helping us to share the story behind our brand, which aims to shed light on the effect of climate change and its impact on biodiversity across the world.”

Whether dipped into a hot drink or sprinkled on top of yoghurt or ice cream, there are many ways to enjoy Peakz anytime and anywhere.

Peakz’s six flavours include: plain chocolate, chocolate orange, salted caramel chocolate, mint chocolate, berry chocolate, and hazelnut chocolate.
