Vivi from event catering firm Rhubarb will be a lively and bustling, all-day Brasserie serving delicious British favourites that evoke a sense of nostalgia, opening 18 February in London WC2.
Set in the heart of London’s iconic Centre Point redevelopment and square, the all-day restaurant will showcase the best of British with an ethos dedicated to bold flavours and seasonality. Menus will evolve throughout the day, with each plate offering a little something for everyone, from simple breakfasts, working lunches, fun afternoon teas to indulgent dinners.
Vivi will be cleverly zoned into four key spaces; The Dining Room, The Bar, The Gallery and Liquid Lounge each bringing different character and appeal to the lively eatery.
Vivi's beautiful dining room will open day to night; serving traditional full English breakfast from 8 am through to light lunches, afternoon teas and indulgent British dinners. Retro British classics such as prawn cocktail, chicken Kiev and the much-loved knickerbocker glory have been brought up to date for this menu and each one will be served with an innovative twist, always beautifully presented. Adjacent to the main Dining Room sits two beautiful private spaces, each seating 14 guests and offering an elegant and intimate dining experience.
The Gallery will have a different energy and ambience from the main dining room. A more relaxed layout that wonderfully embraces British charm and humour; The Gallery will house long sharing tables perfect for lone diners or larger groups. Guests dining here can enjoy a 'VIVI bites’ menu as well as signature dishes from The Dining Room, created to suit the busy breakfast and lunch crowd.
Vivi liquid lounge will begin its day at 8 am when guests can enjoy freshly squeezed juices and smoothies alongside virtuous gluten and wheat-free breakfast bowls and porridges. Opening early as Londoners’ healthy wake-me-up, this lounge area will transform through the day. A casual lunchtime dining spot, afternoon tea destination onto a cocktail and snack lounge by dusk.
Vivi will be a wonderful all-day Brasserie & Bar that changes as London lights up and the lights go down. No detail has been overlooked in this elegant yet fun space - a true nod to the swinging 60's and the iconic building in which Vivi resides.
