New Central England Co-op coming soon to Cambridgeshire village

Central England Co-op has just completed the purchase of Gravelle’s Budgens store in High Street, Sawston, a large village in Cambridgeshire. The current store is now closed and will reopen at 7am on Friday, 15 February, following a major makeover.

During the closure period the store will go through a full refurbishment program to enhance the shopping experience for its members and customers, including pioneering new energy efficient refrigeration technologies to minimise environmental impact and LED lighting.

The store will offer a wide range of products from everyday necessities to something a little more special and will continue to offer a range of local products, an enhanced food to go offering and new Costa Coffee.

The existing store team will remain in place, receive extensive training ready for opening and will be on hand to answer any questions from local residents.

Shoppers can pick up a free voucher booklet to save £12 on their shopping along with other product giveaways while the new Co-op store is being refurbished, simply pop along to the mobile site in the car park to meet the team and find out more.

Customers will also be able to find out more about Central England Co-op and the work it does to make a difference to its members and local communities through member benefits including Share of the Profits member dividend and community grants.

The new Central England Co-op Sawston Food Store will be open 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
