Epic secures multi-million refinance package for boost expansion


EPIC Hospitality Group has secured a multi-million refinance package structured by Allied Irish Bank to assist its continued growth across Liverpool and support the company’s future expansion strategy.

Established in 2012 by Simon and Fiona Beer, EPIC is Liverpool’s fastest-growing independent hotel group with a portfolio of distinctive properties that offer a vibrant and urban feel and deliver quality and luxury accommodation for both corporate and leisure guests.

EPIC boasts properties across Liverpool offering a mix of apartments, aparthotels and its most recent offering the 128-bed Seel Street Hotel by EPIC. This high-end hotel experience is located in the transformed Wolstenholme Square and opened in December 2018 in partnership with the Elliot Group.

The refinance deal provided by Allied Irish Bank (GB) will support EPIC’s future growth strategy, giving the company a solid platform to confidently develop new sites and consider new opportunities to take the business to the next level with potential expansion into other UK cities.

Jonny Beckwith, Area Director at Allied Irish Bank (GB) leads the bank’s Liverpool team who have a strong track record of success supporting the hotel and leisure sector. Jonny used his industry expertise and knowledge and worked closely with Simon and Fiona Beer to understand their aspirations and structure the appropriate funding package.
