Serious Pig hits £350k crowdfunding target & now aims for £500k


Premium snack brand, Serious Pig has today hit its crowdfunding target of £350k from over 1,000 investors, and will now 'overfund' in order to raise more capital.

The investment raised is going to be used to accelerate growth over the next three years. This includes expanding the existing product ranges and taking the brand to the wider consumer market across the UK and beyond.

The snack brand, which is based in the heart of Peckham, already has the capability and structure to increase throughput by 500%.

Founder George Rice is extending the Crowdcube campaign until 7 April to allow any last-minute investors to Own A Slice of the business,

James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog and existing investor has continued to advise the posh snack brand over the past four years. He has even personally invested in Serious Pig again during this round of funding.
