Honest Burgers & Brindisa to launch Spanish burger


British burger restaurant chain, Honest Burgers is teaming up with Spanish food and restaurant group, Brindisa to launch a special one-off collaboration, the 'Bravas', available from 27 May to 30 June.

The 'Bravas' combines Honest beef with Brindisa favourites including chorizo, manchego, fried potato, salsa brava, confit garlic mayo, rocket and pickles. Of course, the special comes with Honest's homemade rosemary salted chips.

Chorizo is one of Brindisa’s best-selling products. They’ve been supplying the same recipe cooking chorizo for over 20 years, bringing a meaty, smoky and slightly spicy edge to the burger.

Manchego, young Spanish sheep’s milk cheese, is made in La Mancha region in the heart of Spain tastes buttery and mild. Aged for around three months, this manchego melts easily and has been awarded protected D.O.P. status.

Confit garlic mayo is a Spanish garlic gently fried in Brindisa’s extra virgin olive oil then blended into mayonnaise with free-range eggs, and salsa brava is a warming, tangy, tomato-based sauce spiced with paprika.

Brindisa has been the home of Spanish food in the UK for 30 years, and has two shops and five restaurants, all in London.

Honest Burgers operates 32 restaurants around the UK, inclduing 7 newly opened sites, and one in London Bridge yet to open.
