The Accor hotel group is to open Mama Shelter in the heart of London in September, only a few minutes from the trains at Cambridge Heath overground and Bethnal Green underground stations.
The new London hotel will have macramé wall hangings, lace doilies, wooden and velvet interior, taking on the look and feel of a genuine English cottage.
The 4,843 sq ft restaurant space will be serving home-cooked meals, and there will also be a spacious 990 sq ft patio.
The 195 bedrooms, crafted by famous interior designers Dion & Arles, feature an avant-garde layout that blends comfort and the very latest technology.
The Mama Shelter adventure began in 2008 with Mama Paris East. The brand has since opened in Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, Belgrade, Prague, and Toulouse.
As well as London, there will be new openings in Lille and Paris this August.
