Everyman to open in Manchester this autumn

Everyman Cinemas is to bring a new venue to Manchester city centre, at ABC Buildings, this autumn.

Taking 10,500 sq ft, Everyman will operate three screening rooms along with an opulent bar and restaurant at the former Astley & Byrom House, which is currently undergoing a fit-out from the Medlock Group.

Offering up a truly unique cinema experience, Everyman will screen the latest blockbusters as well as classics from the archives and live art events.

Rochelle Silverstein, associate director of retail & leisure for Allied London, said, “Everyman is a perfect fit for our growing community of occupiers at ABC as part of Enterprise City. Their offer gives cinemagoers a complete experience and reflects the type of original and quality leisure operators that will cement St. John’s as a destination for culture.

“Everyman at ABC will also complement our growing media cluster, which includes The Farm Group, Booking.com and All Studios; we are now well on our way to building another dynamic and creative neighbourhood for the city.”

The move by Everyman follows the opening of another site in Greater Manchester in Altrincham, and one in Liverpool’s Metquarter.
