Seasoned celebrates 30% rise in summer business

London event caterer, Seasoned has seen a large increase in summer business in 2019 compared with 2018. Over the months of June and July, the business has increased by just over 30% year on year.

The bulk of the increase in business has been down to summer party events, but rather than the traditional staff events, they have been client entertainment focused.

Seasoned has been catering events at the numerous venues over the summer including Museum of London Docklands, LookOut in Hyde Park (pictured), Gunnersbury Park, Royal Hospital Chelsea, Natural History Museum and Gibson Hall. These events have typically been arranged to give an opportunity to mingle with existing clients and to thank them for their business.

It appears that in these uncertain times companies are spending time and money on entertaining their clients which can traditionally be one of the first expenditures to be pulled from company budgets. Hopefully this will be a trend that continues throughout the rest of the year, despite to ongoing uncertainty.

In addition to the corporate exclusive events being hosted in central London, Seasoned also enjoyed a bumper year at Henley Regatta, where members of the Leander Club were hosting their friends and families, and at the Love Supreme jazz festival in Sussex.
