Two new Giggling Squid to open next month

Thai restaurant chain, Giggling Squid is set to open in Weybridge, Surrey and Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, in October.

Thai-born Pranee Laurillard and her husband Andrew founded Giggling Squid in 2009 with the aim of bringing the real Thai dining experience to the UK, and their portfolio has now reached 32 outlets.

Featuring Giggling Squid’s unique, bright interior with its nod to the ingredients from the sea and the land, the new 110-cover Weybridge site and the 100-cover Royal Leamington Spa outlet will even include flowers picked and pressed for wall features by Pranee herself.

The Giggling Squid menu features vibrant, fresh and flavoursome dishes celebrating the abundance of exciting and exotic ingredients found across Thailand, all cooked by expert Thai chefs.

Weybridge and Royal Leamington Spa foodies can look forward to trying Giggling Squid favourites, such as the bestselling Salt & Pepper Squid (fresh squid with a touch of salt and pepper in a light, crispy coating) and creamy Massaman Curry (a legendary flavoured curry, simmered in coconut milk and perfumed with cumin, cinnamon and star anise).

The popular lunchtime tapas menu includes the great value tapas sets such as the Starving Squid (Chicken Red Curry, Pork Dumplings, Thai Spring Rolls, Jasmine Rice). Vegetarian options and separate vegan menus are also available.

Not only for adults, younger children will enjoy the relaxed Thai style dining experience and a dedicated ‘little tapas for little people’ for more delicate taste buds offers a welcome alternative to pizza and chips.
