Arc Inspirations to invest £400k in Manahatta conversion

Arc Inspirations, the leading premium bar operator across the North of England has announced plans to convert its Banyan Bar & Kitchen site in York to Manahatta.

The £400k refurbishment, which is set be unveiled in November, will showcase the New York-themed bar’s signature features including neon signs, stylish interior designs and booth areas creating a contemporary atmosphere.

The premium cocktail and drinks menu has been crafted by Arc Inspiration’s bar development manager, Mark Austin, and the award-winning team from the American bar in the Savoy hotel.

The investment is further testament to the progressive development of the company’s growing portfolio of bars and focus on providing highly differentiated experiences for guests.

The investment follows this month’s opening of a new Manahatta bar in Harrogate. Arc Inspirations continues to focus on developing its core brands, comprising Banyan Bar & Kitchen, The Box and Manahatta as the business executes its successful cluster approach in key cities. The opening will also create 40 new full and part-time jobs in the local area.

Martin Wolstencroft, chief executive of Arc Inspirations, said, “Our core aim is to continue growing and developing our key brands while we create memorable experiences for local communities.

'We’re delighted to be introducing Manahatta to York and are confident the new bar will bring something different to the area. We very much look forward to our guests enjoying everything that Manahatta has to offer.”
