San Carlo to invest £700,000 at flagship venue

San Carlo restaurant group, the Italian restaurant chain who announced last week they were opening two new venues with the help of The Royal Bank of Scotland, are now investing £700,000 in its flagship venue in Manchester’s King Street West.

They will be creating new facilities at the site and refurbishment all existing ones. The ground floor will now further boost a new patisserie and ice-cream making facilities. An addition private dining room will be created, allowing the restaurant to cater for a further 40 diners in the main dining room.

These plans show the group are still strongly pressing forward with their expansion plans, having just opened a ‘Fumo’ site in Birmingham last month and are now in the final stages of preparing to open its second London venue, Cicchetti, later this month.
