Romford & Northampton Traveldoge hotels enjoy revamp


Travelodge is continuing to invest in its estate with London Romford Travelodge and Northampton Central Travelodge becoming the company’s latest hotels to receive comprehensive revamps.

This investment is part of the next phase of Travelodge’s hotel refit programme following the company’s nationwide hotel modernisation programme. As a result of this brand investment, the company has achieved record sales for the last five years and experienced a three-fold growth in business customers switching to Travelodge.

London Romford Travelodge has received a £375k refit, which includes work in all 80 bedrooms as well as the public areas. While Northampton Central Travelodge seen a £260k revamp, which includes work in all 65 bedrooms and public areas.

This refit programme includes the following:
· Installation of new energy saving LED lights in the hotel rooms and public areas which create a warm ambiance
· Decorating all rooms in a sleep inducing colour scheme
· Bathroom works including: new flooring, refresh decor, new vanity units and shower rails
· Fitting new luxurious carpet in all rooms which complements the room décor
· Installation of USB charging ports each side of the bed
