Japanese food hall launches local delivery service


Europe's largest Japanese food hall, Ichiba in London W12 has just launched a local delivery service.

Those in the area around the Westfield shopping complex, where Ichiba is situated, can enjoy their favourite authentic Japanese dishes, made with traditional ingredients, delivered straight to their front door.

There are sashimi and sushi dishes, noodle dishes such as kotteri tonkotsu ramen and prawn tempura udon.

Local can also order donburi and poke choices like classic teriyaki salmon donburi and fresh tuna poke with a matcha yuzu dressing.

Also on offer, takoyaki, okonomiyaki and yakisoba, as well as yakitori, such as Wagyu beef teriyaki, squid shio and negima shio on a stick.

The delivery is free for those who over £25 and if there are free gifts for those who spend over £20, £30 or £40.

Delivery is available from Monday to Saturday: 11.30am - 9.30pm and Sunday: 12.00am to 8.30pm. Delivery is available across these postcodes: W12 7 // W12 8 // W14 - all postcodes // W6 7 // W6 8

The food hall was opened in July last year and is the first joint venture between the Japan Centre Group (the team behind iconic brands Japan Centre, Shoryu Ramen and Sakagura) and Cool Japan Fund, a public-private fund, part owned by the Japanese government.
