The Little Silver Country Hotel in St Michaels, near Tenterden, Kent has been sold via Christie & Co, off an asking price of £2.75m, to David and Elaine Kemp, experienced hotel operators.
The Little Silver Country Hotel is a popular boutique hotel and regarded as one of Kent’s top wedding venues. Located in the beautiful Kent countryside, the hotel is set in a Tudor style house with surrounding landscaped gardens.
The property, which was built in 1935, was converted into a hotel in the 1980s to include 16 individually decorated en suite bedrooms.
The Little Silver Country Hotel has received a Certificate of Excellence on TripAdvisor and regularly receives glowing reviews from those who have stayed there.
The hotel is a unique and charming wedding venue, offering countryside views and three different licensed spaces. The magnificent Kent Hall accommodates 120 guests for a wedding ceremony, whilst the more intimate Orangery overlooking the gardens is a tranquil space with capacity for 35 guests. The Gazebo offers an outdoor wedding space for the summer months.
The previous owners, Oliver and Christine Johnston have owned the business for over 20 years and have significantly improved the property during their time running the hotel. They have taken the decision to retire.
