JJ Foodservice donates meals to Leeds Hospital


JJ Foodservice has donated 4,800 veggie fish fingers, 425kgs of chips and 47kgs of mushy peas to the Cystic Fibrosis Ward of St James’ NHS Hospital in Leeds.

Following the closure of many schools, the business redeployed its tasty supplies to the ward, which accommodates more than 400 adults.

Sedat Kaan Hendekli, Head of Operations at JJ Foodservice, said, “Senior Charge Nurse Jason Swarbrooke (pictured left) and his team on the Unit are doing an incredible job under challenging circumstances. We were pleased we were able to do something small to help.”

JJ Foodservice has been listed as an ‘alternative supplier’ on the Cystic Fibrosis Trust website. The company offers a contact-free next day home delivery service for orders placed by 9pm across 11 UK branches including to shielding and vulnerable customers.
