Danish bakery and cafe chain, Ole & Steen has welcomed Lee Nixon as Interim Managing Director, after Simon Ward-Nicholson's departure.
Nixon comes to Ole & Steen from Le Pain Quotidien where he was Director of Operations, and before that he managed Costa’s 350-site drive-thru and London operation.
Ole & Steen, which operates 12 UK stores - six of which have reopened - and over 70 in Denmark, is set to reopen its seventh London outlet next Tuesday.
Ole & Steen has been serving delicious handmade Danish breads and pastries for over 25 years, using recipes handed down through the generations.
In December 2016, the company opened its first UK bakery in St James’s Market, London and, since then, the highly popular concept has quickly expanded across the capital.
