Nando’s joins Deliveroo for nationwide delivery rollout

Nando’s has entered into an exclusive new partnership with Deliveroo with 360 restaurants now available on the food delivery platform.

Nando’s, famed for their legendary flame-grilled peri-peri chicken, is finally available to Deliveroo customers across the UK and Ireland to enjoy in the comfort of their homes.

This announcement comes as Deliveroo and Nando’s announce the launch of Deliveroo’s ‘brought to you by Deliveroo’ service that enables fans to order via the Nando’s website and the Deliveroo app.

This landmark relationship is the first of its kind for Deliveroo in the UK and underscores Deliveroo’s positioning as the leading provider of logistics-enabled food delivery services. Customers will benefit from Deliveroo’s world-class rider fleet, logistics algorithms, and technology whether they order via the Deliveroo app or the Nando’s website.

The partnership will allow Nando’s to create a multichannel proposition of delivery, click and collect and dine in, deepening the customer relationship and increasing lifetime value. This initiative is a crucial part of Nando’s vision to serve customers with both delicious peri-peri and world-class digital experiences in 2020 and beyond, building a sector-leading internal tech capability to become a truly multichannel business.

The partnership means more tangible benefits for Nando’s fans including:
> Nationwide coverage - With the initial Nando’s delivery offering only covering 180 restaurants from across its entire UK and Irish estate, the successful roll-out means Nando’s is now available from 360 restaurants across the UK and Ireland.

> Loyalty scheme and choice - Customers ordering on the Nando’s website will be able to earn benefits for the Nando’s reward program thus fostering a deeper relationship with Nando’s through an improved home delivery service; customers ordering on the Deliveroo platform will get the benefits of choice and a deeper relationship with Deliveroo while still getting their Nando’s fix.

> Improved User Experience - The end to end customer experience will be significantly improved through stable, user friendly digital platforms supported by leading logistics and technology to enable Nando’s customers to get their peri-peri fix quickly and safely.
