Butchies to open in South West London in June

Butchies, London fried chicken sandwich specialist, is opening a new 20-cover fast casual eatery, just off Earls Court Road on 1 June. It will offer delivery and takeaway too, seven days a week.

To celebrate the launch, Butchies is running a soft opening and offering 50% off food for the first week.

On the same day, Mac N Crac side disd, a hand-made, all British sourced side of mac 'n' cheese, with the Butchies spin, will launch. The dish is laden with plenty of Butchies’ favourite Red Leicester cheese, and the all important mozzarella for the ultimate stringy texture. It's topped with shards and nuggets of crispy, salty fried chicken skin.

The new Bitchies will offer an all-day menu, which includes six of their famous fried chicken sandwiches served in soft butter-toasted buns.

Sandwiches include: The Original with house pickles and Butchies’ 'OG' sauce; Cheesy Rider served with cheese dripping, house pickles and Butchies’ Sriracha chili sauce; and Jenny from the Block with guacamole, chipotle mayo and smoked streaky bacon, as well as the Vegan 'OG' Burger, with plant-based fried chicken, vegan 'OG' sauce and house pickles.

Butchies’ award-winning Buffalo Wings and classic Buttermilk Chicken Tenders are also on offer, plus Popcorn Chicken, and the new dish: Mac N Crac.

Perfectly positioned for days out with the kids, the Earls Court site will also offer Butchies’ Shorty Meals; a kid’s meal including 6 pieces of Popcorn Chicken, house BBQ sauce, small fries and a blackcurrant and raspberry juice from Pip Organic.

Sides include Butch ‘Hot Shake’ Fries with Butchies hot chicken salt and spice blend; Cheese Fries with Red Leicester cheese dripping, and Halloumi Fries with hot chilli honey.

The Butchies dream started in 2013 after Garrett and his wife returned from living in New York. They fell in love with quality fried chicken and the buzzy counter service bodegas, delis, pizza slice shops, taquerias, and burger joints that form a vital part of the city’s soul.

Upon their return, they set about creating London’s ultimate fried chicken sandwich offer. The Butchies original fried buttermilk chicken recipe was developed over 10 painstaking months before being served up at street food markets, music festivals and pop-ups. Ever-growing queues, combined with selling out earlier and earlier each week made them realise they were doing something special.
