Wagamama opens in Paddington with new summer menu


Wagamama has announced the opening of its latest restaurant in in the heart of London's Paddington.

The new restaurant officially opened June 21 and is located in a unique setting at Paddington Central. With heated outdoor seating at the front overlooking the amphitheatre on Sheldon square and a terrace at the back of the new restaurant where guests can enjoy a view of the canal.

The new Wagamama - which has 162 internal seats and 36 outside, has been specially designed with ample space for click and collect/delivery, which has risen from strength to strength at wagamama so guests will be able to enjoy both the dine-in and takeout experience they know and love.

Wagamama, renowned for its iconic katsu curry as well as a menu packed full of fresh, nourishing dishes including rice bowls, noodles and curries, is expecting huge demand for the new restaurant from local residents as well as businesses in the area.

The Paddington restaurant will be cooking up the brand's favourites in addition to some brand new bowls for guests to enjoy, including their brand new hiyashi bowls, part of their summer menu innovation. Three light and bright noodle bowls, taking inspiration from the Japanese summer ramen, will be available for dine-in at wagamama Paddington.

Plus, in the wake of their most innovative vegan menu to date, the new restaurant will be serving all of their now famous vegan menu including the latest dine-in exclusive, vegan chilli squid, which has been a hit with both plant-based and flexitarians alike.

Wagamama has put in place numerous measures to ensure the safety of both guests and staff, including innovative sliding shoji screens to aid with distancing, reduced capacity within the restaurant, the continuation of the wearing of face masks and regular and thorough health and safety checks for all staff before, during and after shifts.
