Fifth Ottolenghi opens in Marylebone


The Ottolenghi team has opened its latest restaurant in London's Marylebone.

The space boasts floor-to-ceiling windows looking onto Marylebone Lane and classic Ottolenghi displays with sweet treats stacked high in the window, morning pastries and a colourful salad counter from 11am.

Example dishes include mains of Spiced chicken pie with tahini sauce, or Cauliflower, curry and raisins fritters with coriander yoghurt and rhubarb chutney, and salads such as Crushed beetroot with elderflower labneh, grains of paradise and hazelnuts.

Daily changing cakes might feature White chocolate cheesecake tart with raspberry compote, or Sicilian lemon and olive tea cake with bay leaf, and pastries like Almond croissants or Parmesan pretzels.

All the dishes can be enjoyed sitting in, for takeaway or for delivery.

Yotam Assaf Ottolenghi, the Israeli-born British chef and restaurateur, along with Sami Tamimi, owns seven delis and restaurants in London, five are branded Ottolenghi and the other two are Rovi and Nopi.
