Cocotte South Kensington to open this month

On 23 August, Cocotte will add a brand-new restaurant, in London's South Kensington, to its roster of acclaimed rotisserie chicken restaurants.

With restaurants in Notting Hill, Shoreditch, Parsons Green, Queen’s Park and soon, South Kensington, Cocotte is a friendly neighbourhood group with the ambition to serve Londoners the very best rotisserie chicken.

Chef-trained Founder Romain Bourrillon and his team go to great lengths to source the highest quality French ingredients from smaller traditional farms, and use Michelin-quality techniques to deliver perfectly cooked, aromatic dishes, which are packed with flavour.

Cocotte’s high-quality free-range chickens are sourced from a farm in Evron (Pays de la Loire, France) and are cooked using expert techniques honed by Romain during his time in Belgium's Michelin-starred restaurants.

A combination of Herbes de Provence, a secret spice mix, slow roasting and - the finale -
a spin on the traditional rotisserie spit, result in beautifully moist and aromatic chicken, which can be enjoyed whole, halved or quartered.

Unashamedly French-influenced, the menu at Cocotte features dishes such as Foie Gras and mushroom croquettes alongside cheese and charcuterie boards serving exceptional produce from France; as well as vibrant sides, crunchy salads and showstopping sauces - such as Truffled mac ‘n’ cheese, Lentil & broccolini salad, and a lauded green sauce.

Wines come from a carefully curated list, alongside a short menu of exciting seasonal cocktails, designed with food matching in mind.

Cocotte also offers weekend brunches from 10am-4pm, including Croissant waffles with sweet chili chicken thigh and a fried egg, and Oeufs parfait (perfect eggs) and truffled mushrooms, served in a rosemary Parmesan cream with toasted sourdough for dunking.

There is also Cinnamon French toast with a caramelised rum banana, red berry coulis and vanilla Cre`me Chantilly; and Croque Monsieur, made with Cocotte's beloved truffle mac 'n' cheese sauce.

Freshly squeezed juices, full of vibrant fruit and vegetables, and exciting brunch cocktails, including bottomless prosecco (for just £20), are also available.

The South Kensington restaurant is designed to provide a comfortable and stylish backdrop, with foliage, natural materials and earthy colours in abundance, and offers guests a relaxed atmosphere, which suits a brunch catch up with friends and family, quick bite to eat with a colleague or an indulgent evening out.

Bourrillion commented, “We have wanted to open a Cocotte site in South Kensington since day one and we are very glad to finally be able to open one of our restaurants in this beautiful suburb. I lived in this area for many years and we hope to bring something that our neighbors will love and be a part of the local community.”

To celebrate the opening, Cocotte is offering a soft launch discount of 50% off food from 23 August - 5 September.
