Robinsons celebrates six British Bottlers Institute awards

Family-run Robinsons Brewery, situated in the heart of Stockport, has just announced a record-breaking result of six awards at the prestigious British Bottlers Institute awards for 2021.

Dizzy Blonde, Hopnik Citra, and Ginger Tom all brought home the gold with Robinsons’ famous Trooper beer scooping the silver, alongside Trooper IPA and Old Tom bagging diploma awards.

Ed Binsted, BBI President, said of this year’s BBI Competition, “This year we had over forty new products entered from previous entrants and new companies. The quality again this year was of a very high standard across all the categories, so all the winners of medals and certificates should be congratulated on some really wonderful quality brewing.

'All the winners were thoroughly deserving of their awards, I am sure consumers in the months ahead will love the products.

'Robinsons Brewery has been so successful in the BBI Competitions for a number of years consistently winning awards and checking back over their scores in previous competitions their quality has not only been consistent but seems to get better each time.”

David Bremner, Director of Marketing, said, “Despite the design and style of the beers, whether they are brewed to classic recipe or in a more contemporary way, whether they’ve been around since Robinsons’ began brewing or have been introduced within the last few years, the awards are proof that Robinsons’ beers are recognised globally as world class ales.'

Bremner added, 'We strive to adapt to consumer demand and are very passionate about the quality of our beers.”
