Presenter, author and NHS clinician Dr Ranj Singh will be one of the keynote speakers at the LACA Main Event, which is scheduled to take place on 12-14 October at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
Taking place over three days, the LACA Main Event includes a packed speaker programme, live demonstrations and free to attend interactive workshops.
On 12 October, Singh will deliver a keynote speech on ‘Happy and Healthy Children: the importance of diet and exercise’. He will share highlights of his career to date as well as his insight and expertise about the important role diet and exercise play in the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity.
Amanda Hamilton has been announced as the Forum chair and LACA Awards for Excellence host. The LACA Awards acknowledge individuals and teams who continue to make a ‘real difference’ to school food and education catering.
Being nominated for a LACA award gives a sense of prestige and honour at a personal level. The awards night will take place on Wednesday 13th October at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
