Arc Inspirations set for go-ahead on York site


The highly profitable bar and restaurant chain Arc Inspirations, is set to open a new site by turning a former chapel in the centre of York into its ninth bar.

Led by Martin Woolstencroft, the company is due to receive planning consent and will now plan to convert the listed 161-year old building in York’s Little Stonegate. If successful it will be the first opening for the company in several years.

In the year to 1 April 2012, Arc reported pre-tax profits of £2,557,465 on turnover of £11,655,708. The year before they had a turnover of £12,536,538 and pre-tax profit of £2,760,300
