Island Poke to celebrate 5th birthday ahead of two new openings

Island Poké is set to celebrate its fifth birthday and now has 15 sites throughout the capital following the launch of its first restaurant in Soho’s Kingly Street in 2016. The birthday preceeds two new sites due to open in early 2022.

The two new Islands are set to open in Clapham and Notting Hill. The full estate also includes four dark kitchens across London with further plans to open 23 new Islands over the next five years, which will treble its current UK footprint.

To celebrate the brand's landmark 5th year, it is running a number of exciting promotions and incentives over the next week. These include:

• Find the Golden Fish – there will be five Golden Fish stickers in islands across London. If a guest finds a sticker at the bottom of their bowl they will win a free bowl of poke every week for a year.
• Cookbook Scavenger Hunt – on Friday 19th November there will be a scavenger hunt across Carnaby for five Island Poké cookbooks. Those who find the book will also win a free bowl of poke every week for a year.
• Poké Perks Purchase – customers who make a purchase through their Poké Perks account before the end of November 2021 will be automatically entered into a draw to win a feisty 500 points, available to use against all Island purchases in store.
• Merch Bundle – one random winner who tags a pal on the selected Instagram post will be in the chance of winning a merch bundle for themselves and a friend – this will include a cap, a tote, a tee-shirt and a jumper each.
• TikTok – follow Island Poké on TikTok to be entered into a draw to win an Instax Mini 11 camera

Island Poké founder James Gould-Porter said, “Island Poké has been a huge hit since we launched our first restaurant in Kingly Street five years ago. To mark this amazing milestone we are giving ten loyal customers the chance to win free poke for a year.

“We are looking forward to the celebrations as we continue our mission of bringing people a great and fresh alternative to the traditional lunch and dine-out offering.”

Island Poké brings fresh Pacific flavours using sustainable and high-quality ingredients. The fresh poké bowl options range from the Classic Ahi Tuna poké to the Yuzu Lomi Lomi salmon poke, as well as vegetarian, vegan and ‘build your own’ options.

The outlets feature new digital menu boards with lapping beach waves and sustainable, Oceanic fabric seating. Oceanic is born of the SeaquaL Initiative, designed to combat marine plastic pollution and achieve a waste-free environment. This fabric is a recycled polyester with a purpose and Island Poké is proud to support the mission to clean up both the earth and its oceans.
