Aldi’s popular Saint Gérmont Premium Vodka (£14.99, 70cl), is named best in the world at the World Vodka Awards 2022.
Adding to Aldi’s ever growing trophy cabinet, Saint Gérmont had tough competition, but beat Misty Isle Vodka, which only scooped a bronze, despite retailing at around double the price of Aldi’s bottle.
The news comes as Aldi brings back its shopper favourite Saint Gérmont Premium Raspberry Vodka (70cl, £14.99). Carefully crafted in the heart of France and distilled five times for purity, this sweet vodka boasts well-balanced raspberry flavours and is made using crystal clear water from the Charente region. Shoppers could save up to 55% compared to Belvedere Raspberry Vodka.
The award adds to Aldi’s impressive accolade of over 260 awards in the last twelve months, including ‘Best Spirits Supermarket 2022’ at the People’s Choice Awards, and ‘Supermarket Own Branded Spirits Range of the Year’ at the International Spirits Festival.
