White Brasserie Co to open new Dorset venue next month

Renowned pub group, White Brasserie Company will be opening a new site in Parkstone, Poole, this October.

The group, which names Michelin star chef Raymond Blanc as a Director, has taken over the former Maison Sax site and will return the venue to its former glory as a traditional pub.
The Britannia is set to open on October 17th following an extensive refurbishment, and will bring 55 new jobs to the area with roles in front of house, back of house and bar.

The pub will feature a dedicated bar, 150 cover restaurant and a vast 100 cover terrace and garden, complete with stunning outdoor fireplace and heated covered cabana area for cosy year-round outdoor dining.

Head of Design, Inge Watrobski said: “With our signature take on traditional pub style the interiors will be warm and inviting with British made wool tartans, bespoke deep-buttoned vintage leather banquettes, fabulous wallpapers and our favourite quirky touches.”

The menu will feature traditional pub classics with French influences all cooked fresh to order and using the very best, sustainable produce. For example, The Britannia will source its meat from the Queen’s butcher, Aubrey Allen, which is renowned for its ethical approach, animal welfare standards and highest quality steaks, pork, burgers and more.

The group already has two venues in the local area, The Oaks in Highcliffe and Brasserie Blanc in Bournemouth.

Richard Ferrier, Managing Director of Brasserie Bar Co (the parent company of The White Brasserie and Brasserie Blanc), commented, “The Britannia represents our third venue in the region. It is a fantastic space and we hope it will be a popular destination for locals and visitors alike with inviting spaces for food and drink, fun interiors and cosy snugs, as well as a stunning garden. We can’t wait to throw the doors open on 17th October.”
