Dorchester Collection welcomes global sales director


Dorchester Collection has today announced the appointment of Arabella El Barkouki as global director of sales, effective immediately.

Reporting to Philip Morris, Dorchester Collection’s vice president, commercial, Arabella is responsible for leading the brand’s global sales teams, developing sales strategies to support growth and spearheading policies, objectives and initiatives across the portfolio of current and future hotels.

Arabella brings over 20 years of leadership experience from the luxury hospitality industry to her role.

This appointment marks a return for Arabella to Dorchester Collection. She first joined the brand in 2008 and spent four years as regional director of sales for the UK, Europe and Russia before being promoted to director of sales and marketing for Le Richemond, Geneva which was managed by Dorchester Collection at the time.

In 2015, she went on to join Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as head of regional sales, Europe and held several sales leadership roles during her seven years with the company.

Most recently, she was the brand’s vice president of global sales partners. A British national, Arabella holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of East Anglia and was recognised in Walpole Power List 2022 as one of the most influential people in British luxury.
