Gaucho to open 18th site in Liverpool next month


Argentinian steak restaurant group, Gaucho is heading to the North West with its latest launching in Liverpool.

Opening its doors next month, this will be Gaucho's 18th venue and is located on Water Street. The new restaurant is housed within a Grade II-listed buidling, a former banking hall, and split over two floors

The food will have the brand's contemporary global influence, based strongly around modern Argentina. Notably the best quality steak in the world, the beef comes from Argentinian, premium Black-Angus cattle bred at hand-selected farms.

As well as a the steak, the menu will also offer dishes such as Whole grilled seabass, Black truffle stuffed gnocchi, and Marinated pork matambre.

To finish, there's Buttermilk pancakes, Sticky apple & date pudding, Choclalate brownies and Don Pedro (vanilla ice cream whizzed with cream and whisky to make a thick, milkshake-like pudding).

For drinks, there is g sustainable drinks, Argentinian wine, champagne & sparkling wine, cocktails, spirits, beer, cider, as well as non-alcoholic options, like Punchy Blood Orange, bitters & cardomom.

The new Liverpool venue will join the Gaucho portfolio, that includes 12 London sites and others in Birmimgham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

This is an exciting time for the group, which first opened in London in 1994, as Gaucho will be opening its first restaurant in Newcastle in 2023.
