Sticks'n'Sushi, a Copenhagen-based sushi and yakitori restaurant, has recently acquired two additional locations in South West London, expanding its UK portfolio to a total of 13 restaurants.
The upcoming opening of their largest restaurant, set to launch in Kingston this October, will feature an impressive 220-seat capacity. Spanning two floors, the establishment will showcase a minimalist Japanese design with an outdoor terrace. Notably, a private dining room will be available for both business meetings and personal gatherings.
Furthermore, in early 2024, Sticks'n'Sushi has plans to unveil a ground-floor restaurant in Richmond.
This announcement follows the restaurant's prediction that the UK will become its largest market in 2022, following a year of record-breaking sales.
Sticks'n'Sushi, founded in 1994 as a fusion of Danish and Japanese cuisine, initially entered the UK market 11 years ago with its first restaurant located in Wimbledon, London.
Among their signature dishes, guests can enjoy the Sushi Sister sashimi sharing menu, beef tataki, tempura shrimp with miso aioli, chili, lime, and coriander, as well as their renowned pink Alaska rolls.
Andreas Karlsson, group chief executive, who now oversees 25 restaurants across Copenhagen, Berlin and the UK, said: 'We have had South West London on our wish list of locations ever since our first opening in Wimbledon during the year of the summer Olympics.
